Hence, a device management solution which may be integrated with its existing system and directories is required. This should likewise provide secure access to corporate resources, as well as record device inventory.

APX recommended enterprise mobility management (EMM) with AirWatch. Deployment services and mobile application reputation service were covered by APX in this project. APX’s solution revolved around a hybrid software-as-a-service platform which included on premise installation of EMM components

Outcome
The proposed solution successfully supported the mobile initiative project of the client. Through the hybrid cloud EMM solution, tracking of mobile devices, enforcement of security compliance policies, importation of user profiles and usage of single sign-on from Active Directory are now possible for the client. It has also enabled the client to remotely push applications and settings to users and manage mobile access to Exchange email, documents and intranet sites. As a result, the client’s corporate-owned mobile devices are more secured with risk of company data loss reduced.
