Due to a large distribution of network among multiple sites and departments, the client has to maintain a separate network for each. A set of policies per department and individual has to be established because of the criticality and confidentiality of data. The client also requires a proactive network monitoring and management system which can provide visibility on response time, availability, and performance of network devices; network bandwidth and traffic patterns down to the interface level; and application monitoring for all infrastructure components.
APX Proposition
In response, APX proposed a robust integrated security solution that consolidates technologies and centralizes security management. APX validated the client’s need for a proactive network monitoring and management system; hence, it was included in the proposal.
